Request an Absentee Ballot
Starting the third Monday before Election Day, you can vote by absentee ballot in person at your Municipal Clerk’s office.
If you are unable to go to your polling place on Election Day due to age, illness, disability or infirmity, you can request an absentee ballot be sent to you for every election, automatically, as an “indefinitely confined elector.”

All Wisconsin voters have a right to cast a ballot privately and independently at their polling place on Election Day. The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) requires that every polling place in the state of Wisconsin meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility standards. In addition, the Wisconsin Elections Commission is committed to ensuring that all polling places in Wisconsin are accessible to all voters.
If you would like to know more about your polling place so you can prepare for Election Day, please contact Your Municipal Clerk, who will have the most up-to-date information about the accessibility features at your polling place.
