¿Qué es una boleta provisional?

Una boleta provisional es una boleta que se marca pero no se cuenta en el momento de su emisión. Se emite para un votante que no puede proporcionar a los trabajadores electorales la documentación requerida por la ley federal de Wisconsin.

...you are elgible to vote and have a current and valid Wisconsin driver license or identification card, but you are unable or unwilling to list the number when you register.

...you registered by mail as a first-time Wisconsin voter before April 4, 2014 but did not provide an identifying document establishing proof of residence at the time and you are unable to provide the required proof of residence at the polling place.

...you are a registered voter and you are unable or unwilling to provide proof of identification.

...you went to the wrong polling place. If you go to the wrong polling place, you will be directed to the correct location.

...you attempted to register in person at the polling place and did not provide the required proof of residence.

How can I correct a provisional ballot?

A provisional ballot will not be counted unless the voter provides the required information to the poll workers by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day or the municipal clerk by 4:00 p.m. of the Friday following the election. Download instructions about correcting a provisional ballot in English or Spanish.
